Using Our Website

By placing an order with us online, you’re confirming that you’re at least 18 years old.

Payments

When ordering online with a Debit/Credit card or Apple Pay, full payment (100% of the order value) will be required at checkout.

When ordering with a Kitchen Surveyor or over the phone;
- A 50% deposit is needed when you place your order.
- The remaining balance is due 14 days before delivery.

If you require delivery only ASAP, payment in full is required before production begins. Kitchen doors and components are made to order and cannot be resold once production has started. Full payment allows us to secure delivery slots and avoid delays.

Once full payment has been made, we will then confirm your delivery date within 48 hours. Note this does not apply if you are opting for our fitting service.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Once payment has been made, production of your order begins immediately. All Kitchen Doors and associated products are made to measure and customised specifically for you. For this reason, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, the usual 14-day cancellation rights do not apply to bespoke or personalised goods.

This means that once your order is confirmed and paid for, it cannot be cancelled, changed, or refunded.

If you believe your order is faulty or not as described, please contact us and we will work with you to resolve the issue in line with your statutory rights.

Kitchen Accessories

Base, wall, tower, and infill panels are supplied slightly oversized. This is because walls are rarely perfectly square, and the panels are designed to be cut and scribed on-site to achieve a seamless, perfect finish.

Base and wall corner posts are supplied in two separate parts and are designed to be cut and fitted to the size required for your installation.

Please note: We do not supply any fixing kits, screws, or additional hardware with the panels.

• It is the customer’s or installer’s responsibility to ensure all panels are correctly measured, cut, and fitted on-site.

• Slight variations in colour, grain, or finish may occur due to manufacturing processes.

• Panels should be stored flat, in a dry environment, and handled carefully before installation.

• Tyne Doors accepts no responsibility for incorrect installation or damage resulting from improper fitting.

• Panels and Kitchen Doors are bespoke and cut to order; returns cannot be accepted once manufacture has begun.

• Cutting and scribing should be carried out using  appropriate tools and safety equipment.

• Please inspect all items upon delivery and report any defects within 7 days.

Hinge recommendation: For new made-to-measure kitchen doors, we recommend using our supplied hinges when drilling 35mm hinge holes to ensure perfect fit and smooth operation.

From time to time, we may update these terms. It’s always worth checking back in now and again to see the latest version.

Legal Bits 

This website and any orders placed are governed by English law, and any disputes will be handled in the courts of England and Wales. All contracts are made in English.

Delivery

Kitchen doors and accessories are made in Crookstown, Northern Ireland. A dispatch date will be provided from the factory. Delivery times cannot be guaranteed due to ferry and freight schedules, but orders usually arrive within 2 days of dispatch. Deliveries are not made at weekends. Customers will receive text updates once their order is on its way, so please ensure a correct mobile number is provided.

Privacy

We take your privacy seriously and will always handle your details in line with our Privacy Policy.

Third Party Rights

These terms are just between you and Tyne Doors – no one else has rights under them.
